CLASS FULL. We will be making projects from Carol Doak's book, "Easy Paper Pieced Miniatures". We will work on four projects, one each quarter. We have increased the size of each project so do not let the "miniature" description intimidate you. Paper piecing is a great technique to have in your "piecing toolbox" and can be mastered even by a confident beginner. You can choose these fabrics or select your own to get a totally different look for your quilt. We will assist you with your fabric choices during the first class. CLASS FULL. We will be making projects from Carol Doak's book, "Easy Paper Pieced Miniatures". We will work on four projects, one each quarter. We have increased the size of each project so do not let the "miniature" description intimidate you. Class is Closed. The first month is $160.00 and this includes the fabric and pattern. Rulers are sold separately. As you construct this quilt, you will learn how to use the 45 degree Half Square Triangle Ruler and the 90 degree Quarter Square triangles from Creative Grids. This beautiful quilt by Chris Hoover of Whirligig Designs features Lemon Glass fabrics from Island Batiks, a signature collection by Kathy Engle. Sea Islands is traditionally pieced using two Creative Grids rulers (45 half square triangle and 90 degree quarter square triangle rulers by Creative Grids). One block has optional paper piecing instructions. This 12-month Block of the Month will measures 100" x 100" finished. Patti Gibian will be the instructor for this course and she absolutely amazing!
