We will meet three times.
First meeting – October 16th 10am - noon
We will be cutting out the fabric needed for the snake. Prior to class please press and starch all fabric. For class you will need rotary cutter, pins, lots of stickers for labeling the fabric and a small ruler like a 4 ½ ” X 8 ½”. If you have a stripology ruler that would be good. If you have the ¼“ stripology ruler, that would be great but not necessary.
Second meeting – Oct 25th 10am – 2pm
We will be working on making the serpentine block. I will be showing you a trick for attaching the small quarter circle. For class you will need rotary cutter, Add-a -Quarter ruler, cutting mat, sewing machine, and a small container to hold liquid starch as will as thread that will be top stitched on to serpentine body.
Third meeting – November 22nd 10 am – 2 pm
We will be making the head and tail of the serpentine and begin to put the quilt together.
