2019: Coneflowers

Coneflowers, also known as Echinacea, have colorful and sturdy flowers that endure through the late summer and fall.  They are well known for their many health benefits.  These coneflowers really pop off of the background design, the upward movement of the background really speaks of life happening and together with the background the flowers offer a cheery distraction as we move through the fall season into winter.

The coneflowers are made with freezer paper pattern pieces so they come out the correct size.  The dragonflies are optional for those with an embroidery machine. The class is in two parts, the first class you will construct the background and the second class is for applying the flowers.
