Paper Piecing WEDNESDAY Class (4th Wednesday) 2021

We will be making projects from Carol Doak's book, "Easy Paper Pieced Miniatures".  We will work on four projects, one each quarter.  We have increased the size of each project so do not let the "miniature" description intimidate you.  Paper piecing is a great technique to have in your "piecing toolbox" and can be mastered even by a confident beginner.  You will be sewing on paper, on a marked line and therefore a consistent seam allowance is not a critical skill to have.  Many quilts are made with a combination of techniques and often a paper pieced block can be a stunning center focus.

Our paper piecing instructor, Patty Gibian, is an exceptional teacher and she will walk you through each project block by block.  She has prepared additional class aides including easy material measurement.  Each member of our staff has experience at paper piecing and will be able to offer you the support you need in choosing colors and preparing for your class.  If you are ready to learn a new skill please join us.
